We work with Louisville Metro Government, rescue organizations, and pet owners to improve animal welfare & prevent unnecessary shelter killing.

2019 Food Bank Provisions

In January 2019, we provided food for:

  • 111 low/no-income families
  • 220 Dogs = 6,228 pounds dry and 23,649 ounces wet dog food
  • 276 Cats = 1,478 pounds dry and 3,730 ounces wet cat food
  • 56 containers of litter
  • 1 dog dewormer
  • 60 puppy pee pads
  • 20,000 pounds dog food donated to rescues
  • 1 Hamster
  • 2 Birds
  • 2 Rabbits
  • 14 Fish
  • 6 Guinea Pigs
